I am an intermediate rafter, and I own both a 14ft and 18ft cataraft. My favorite river stretch is the south fork of the Boise river, below Anderson Ranch Dam. Other stretches I've run are the Cabarton, Staircase and Main Payette; Milner, Murtaugh, Bliss, and Hells Canyon stretches of the Snake River; Stanley, Main and Middle Fork stretches of the Salmon River. There is nothing better than a week on the Middle Fork of the Salmon river for those lucky enough to win the lottery. I've only done it once, so far...
