Ham Radio

I have had a Technician class Ham Radio License since April 2003. My main interest in Ham radio is high altitude balloon launches and tracking. I am also interested in amateur television, but trees prevent me from hitting the repeater without putting up a tower.

I can sometimes be found sending position reports via APRS. You can find me by clicking here. I operate an APRS IGATE in Kimberly that sends all local APRS (Automatic Position Reporting System) traffic to the Internet where it can be passed around, and archived on sites like findu.com, where the 'find me' link points. I also allow people to send messages via the Internet to anyone who is in range of the Harrison digipeter.
